I visited the soba noodle place last week, and my experience was quite average. The food was decent; however, the broth was a bit on the oily side and lacked a robust flavor. On a positive note, the staff was quite nice and accommodating, adding a pleasant touch to the overall dining experience. In summary, it's a decent ramen shop.
It was delicious! Broth (truffle) was super rich and textures of noodles were perfectly chewy, and I prefer this thickness rather than thicker soba. Love the fig compote too - a refreshing sweet palate balancer! Staff were super efficient and friendly:)
Came here with friends for dinner on a Saturday night and as we all expected, it was super crowded (as it is everywhere in Jewel on the weekends). Thankfully, it wasn't such a long wait as the line was relatively shorter than other places and it moved quite fast. The restaurant itself wasn't too big, but there were many seats and customers came and went really quickly.
We ordered 3 bowls of ramen and drinks, as well as a sharing side of mentaki sashimi to go along with them. All came quickly and the taste was decent. Portion wasn't too big, so the additional side dish was great. The staff was really busy serving the orders, but luckily we could order through the QR codes so as to alleviate the busyness of the staff. All in all, it was a nice and decent place for dinner, but if you hate crowds, you should avoid it on the weekends and even more so, during dinner. I am sure lunch time during the weekdays would be much better.
Lovely ramen resturant which is Michelin star. Noodle is nice. Price is acceptable for the quality.
The operations seems messy with mix up of food between our two tables. A dad with a baby asked for hot water and he was directed outside to get it outside. I think the staff should be abit nicer
The noodle texture is bad. One of the worse textured ramen I’ve ever eaten.
The soup is still ok because of the truffle, very fragrant.
The Char Siew totally failed, tasteless like boiled meat.
Truffle flavour in the truffle shoyu ramen was not that strong, though the soup was quite tasty in general. The meat portion was really little. The don with pork loin was just okay. Sakura tea was really fragrant. Ambience felt like a fastfood restaurant; tables are arranged really close to one another.
The first time ever to try this ramen restaurant in Jewel at Changi. The truffle ramen is their signature, but it’s not my favorite. Service is good, they are attentive to guest needs.
Saw the long queue and michelin star so decided to check this place out. Ramen broth is very very rich and the chashu was good. Didn’t really like the dumpling as it was too doughy. Pork belly rice was not bad, but the ramen is clearly the star of the show.
